Norwood 2000 mill
Norwood makes a good mill and has a good website showing some in operation.
Our maximum cut size is 24" wide and 13 feet long.
The saw kerf is 1/8" thick.
The lumber from the 12-1/2 foot cherry log in the picture above went to an outside lumber pile to air dry for 9 months or more. After drying outside the boards will be dried below 9% moisture content and sterilized at 140 degrees in a small kiln then kept in the climate controlled sales area.
